Policy Management & Common Questions

Can family members use my bike and be covered? Yes. Your spouse, children over 18, or a partner you've lived with for 2+ years can be covered, as long as they are listed on the policy as additional policyholders. Additional policyholders must reside permanently at the address on the policy and be over 18 years old.

Can I add multiple bikes? Yes. You can add multiple bikes to one policy during the quoting process. Each additional bike receives a 10% multi-bike discount. Maximum insured value per bike is $21,500.

Can I make changes to my policy? Yes. Call (877) 621-6940 Ext. 1 or email hello@sundaysinsurance.ca. Note that some changes may affect your premium.

Can I add or remove racing coverage mid-policy? Yes. You can add racing coverage at the start of the season and remove it when the season ends.

How does depreciation work? For bikes older than two years (unless you've selected Lifetime New for Old), depreciation is applied at 10% per year from the original RRP. If the original RRP cannot be established, the current RRP of an equivalent replacement is used.

Can I insure my custom-built bike? Yes. Specify each custom component under "custom parts" and include those values in your total bike value.

How do automatic renewals work? Your policy renews automatically after 12 months to ensure continuous coverage. If you wish to cancel, contact us before the renewal date.

What is the 14-day cooling-off period? If you cancel within 14 days of your policy start date (or each renewal date) and have not made a claim, you'll receive a full premium refund.

Can Sundays cancel my policy? Yes, in cases of: non-payment, non-compliance with policy terms, fraudulent claims, or misrepresentation at the time of purchase. If a total loss claim is paid out, the policy ends with no premium refund.

I haven't received my policy documents. What do I do? Log in to your account at sundaysinsurance.ca to access your documents 24/7. Check your spam folder for your welcome email. If you still can't find it, call (877) 621-6940 Ext. 1.
